Our creative week in Tuscany was blessed with much sunshine, spectacular views, great cooking from Rolf, and a fair bit of inspiration from having time and space to work together in luxurious surroundings! The tunes and songs for the new album are really developing now - exciting times...
Here a video that gives you some insight on what happened in Italy:
It was lovely to meet some of you during our May tour, which also enabled us to take in the lovely surrounds of Bodensee, sample the locally grown wine in Dexheim, celebrate 10 years of Broom Bezzums with Mark, Andrew and their talented guest performers in Birkenfeld and experience some pretty unusual audience dancing in Sindelfingen ;)
Onwards and upwards: after our next gig in Erfurt on 20th June, we’re heading to the studio to begin working on album arrangements -

Well, it was fantastic to meet so many of you out on the road - our St. Patrick’s Day tour was tons of fun, with friendly audiences, unusual venues (including a school, a couple of barns, a church and a cinema!), a couple of relaxing spa days, a trip to the instrument museum in Markneukirchen, and a fantastic birthday celebration for Hendrik!
Now we’re working hard in preparation for our time in Tuscany in May, when we’ll spend a week together in a beautiful location, working on new songs and tunes for our forthcoming album (and enjoying Rolf’s cooking!). Shortly after, we’ll be heading out again in May to perform in Langenargen (13th), Dexheim (14th), Birkenfeld (15th - a shared gig with Broom Bezzums) and Sindelfingen (16th). Hopefully see you soon! Meanwhile, a few insights in the back stage and tour van mayhem of this year's spring tour in our latest tour diary video...also featuring a confetti bomb live on stage!

The February tour was a blast, thanks to all of you who made it along! You'll have seen Juergen's snazzy new shirts, then...As well as fun gigs, we enjoyed generous hospitality - drinking "the true word of God" in a ceremony after dinner in Oldenburg, and receiving lovely gifts in Twistringen (as well as enjoying table tennis and a sauna in the hotel). Before and after playing in a delightful historic venue in Osdorf, we were fed Gudrun's favourite - tasty, healthy veggie food - and given a warm welcome by Ursula and Heinrich, and Kim finally succumbed to the delights of German sausage backstage (while playing Battleships) in Kappeln. Steffen helped us celebrate Rolf's birthday with a van full of balloons, a party on the bridge to Denmark, and a surprise confetti bomb on stage in the beautiful venue in Ballerup, and we all enjoyed time in Copenhagen before being made very welcome in Fyn Folk Club, Odense. Fish rolls dominated our visit

It was great to meet some of you out on our snowy January tour! Beyond the welcoming venues and the craic, highlights for us were the extravagant interior of De Kleine Waarheid in Zaandam, two invigorating, friendly sessions in Amsterdam, hostess Marianne’s culinary delights in Darmstadt, shooting film footage for a new promo video, performing again with young Irish band Crosswind, and some crazy clapping patterns from certain audiences!
Coming up in February, we’ll be performing in Oldenburg (13th), Twistringen (14th), Hamburg (15th), Kappeln (16th), Ballerup, Denmark (17th), Odense, Denmark (18th), Lutterbek (19th), Hameln (20th) and Uslar (21st). If you live nearby it would be great to see you at a gig - full details on our Dates page . Until then...
